Challenging Opportunity for BE/B.Tech Graduates in Mechanical Engineering
Eligibility: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters).Those who have completed the Degree are only eligible to apply as the selected candidates are required to join ISRO during February 2009
Age Limit : 35 years as on 17-11-2008 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders). Pay and Allowances:  Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400 (Grade Pay).
How to apply
1. The application
for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 28-10-2008 and 17-11-2008. Candidates may visit our web-site at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 28-10-2008 and 17-11-2008. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily.
2. The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a `No Objection Certificate' from the employer
concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name and Reg. No. on the reverse.
3. There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each application. Demand Draft details need to be filled-in at the time of on-line registration. The candidate before filing his/her application has to take a DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.
4. The Applicant should enter the DD Number, date and name of the Bank in the space provided for the same in the web application. After filing the application, on-line, the applicant has to send the DD with his/her Full Name (as entered in web), Post Number and Registration No. written on the reverse of the DD to Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore - 560231 by ordinary post superscribing on the envelope "ISRO RECRUITMENT-SCIENTIST/ENGINEER 'SC'".

Board Of School Education, Haryana STET (State Teacher’s Eligibility Test) 2008 Results

The Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani came into existence in 1969 as per Haryana Act No. 11 of 1969 with its head-quarters at Chandigarh later shifted to Bhiwani in January 1981. The Board started with a staff of 100 officials allocated from Punjab University, Chandigarh and conducted the first examination of matriculation level (10th Class) in 1970. The Board started conducting the Middle examination with effect from 1976 to improve educational standards at Middle level. The Board adopted 10+2 pattern of education and conducted XII class examination under the new scheme with effect from 1987. It started conducting 10+2 Vocational examination in 1990, keeping in view the need and relevance of vocationalization of education in the backdrop of the fast changing economic scenario.

Bangalore University located in the Garden City of Bangalore aptly hailed as the “IT capital of India” was established in July 1964 as an offshoot of the University of Mysore, primarily to include institutions of Higher learning located in the metropolitan city of Bangalore and the districts of rural Bangalore, Kolar. Initially, the two premier colleges of the city, the Central College(CC) and the University Vivesvaraya College of Engineering formed the nucleus of the Bangalore University.  Soon after the establishment of the Bangalore University, as a first step in the reorganization of courses of instructions, the University introduced Honours courses in the year 1965-66.
Three-year honours courses in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, English, Geology, Kannada, Mathematics and Zoology which were conducted only at the University postgraduate departments, attracted many brilliant students. All honours-passed students were admitted to post-graduate courses on priority and B.A.  and B.Sc. graduates who marginally missed admission to the postgraduate courses were given an opportunity to join the final year honours course and seek admission to post-graduate courses thereafter.
